Playdale | Nr Cayton 19 miles | Animals & Venture Play | There is a huge indoor play area with ball pool, toy tractors, an adventure trail and more. In the outdoor play area there is a large playground with tent covered slides, climbing frames and tunnel slides. Scarborough Bowls Centre | Scarborough 19 miles | Bowls | Eight indoor rinks and two outdoor crown greens. I can’t figure out how this attraction keeps going – but the brochure says “Free Entrance, Free Coaching, Free Equipment Hire”. Hey, it must be worth a visit. Flamingo Land | Kirby Misperton 5 miles | Theme Park& Zoo | Rides are being updated annually, there is always something new and more daring. It is expensive to get in but it is all free once you are inside. Food is also quite expensive so a packed lunch would be advisable. I do not know how good the zoo is but my son returns to the theme park regularly. |
Seaside | Scarborough 19m Filey 20m Bridlington 24m | Beaches | Each of these has a good sandy beach. Scarborough also has a funfair and miles of sea-front arcades. Parking can be difficult at Scarborough but the train and bus service is good. Previous guests have been to Filey and Bridlington and recommend a visit to both. |
