Eden Camp | Malton area 3 miles | War Museum & Memorabilia | If you think all war stuff is boring this makes a pleasant change. Eden Camp really was a prisoner of war camp. There are loads of medals to look at but this is made really interesting by the addition of amazing stories about how they were achieved. Some of the prisoners handy-craft is on display. What makes the handy-craft amazing is the things they were made from – bomb shells and alike. A simulated submarine section, a wooden fort and a form of treasure hunt make Eden Camp interesting for children. See Eden Camp |
